Karen’s husband oversaw the development and operation of 19 restaurants/snack bars for the World’s Fair ’98 in Portugal. This six-month event brought in visitors from around the world. Karen incorporated the event’s ghost town theme when she painted the signs and floors in the large restaurant and snack bars.
